Rice Pest Control was established in 1956 as a family owned business. Rice Pest Control began as a dream of Chief Entomologist Charlie F.(Cecil) Rice while studying entomology and agronomy at Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University). With his knowledge an interest was sparked in public health and food supply protection. After a few years working for the Alabama Department of Agriculture as a farm and soil inspector Charlie had an opportunity to move his young family to Gadsden, Alabama and began his pest control career with C&L Exterminating. It wasn't long before Charlie was offered the business. With a loan of $500.00 from a former college professor C&L became Rice Pest Control and its headquarter was moved to Anniston, Alabama. Rice Pest Control is now wholly owned by Tracy H. Rice, a second generation Certified Operator. Our company serves East and Central Alabama including Anniston, Oxford, Metro Birmingham, Gadsden, Attalla, Pell City, Wedowee, Roanoke, Ashland, Lineville and points in between. As a company we are very proud of our quick and courteous response to pest issues. Rice Pest Control is a full service pest control company including the control of termites, general pests and bed bugs.
